Happy 4th of July, y’all! This year, I had a sparkler-worthy vision: an all-American, red-white-and-blue themed pop-up mini session with some of my fabulous 2026 senior reps. Picture this—patriotic outfits, American flags waving in the breeze, and five stunning girls totally dressed to impress in downtown Fort Worth. And not just any spot downtown… we shot at the beautiful Post Office off Lancaster, which is extra special to me because it’s where I did my own bridal portraits (AND I got married next door—cue all the sentimental swoons!).
Now, let’s talk about the wind for a sec. Oh my stars and stripes, weather in Texas really said “let me show you what 30mph gusts feel like!” But with a packed calendar and zero time to reschedule, we rolled with it—because the show had to go on. And honestly? That wind turned out to be our secret weapon. It gave those flags the perfect dramatic wave and made the girls’ hair look like they were straight outta a Beyoncé music video. Yes please!
This was a first-come, first-serve kind of deal, and the reps who signed up brought their A-game. I had them submit their outfit ideas beforehand so we could avoid any too-matchy-matchy moments and make sure the whole vibe stayed cohesive (and SO cute). After a little outfit tweaking and planning, the big day finally arrived—and I was beyond pumped to hang out with these beauties.
One of my favorite shots of the day involved a bit of a climb—okay, a major climb—onto the Post Office pillars. Let it be known: I am terrified of heights. But for the perfect shot? I’m all in. The girls didn’t hesitate to scale right up like champs, and the results? OBSESSED. Every single image from this session gives me goosebumps in the best way.
My 2026 senior reps are already blowing me away with their energy, confidence, and how effortlessly photogenic they are. We had such a blast, and this pop-up themed mini session has me dreaming up more already. Spoiler alert: this definitely won’t be the last one!
Wishing you all a fun-filled, firework-poppin', freedom-lovin’ 4th of July!
Stay tuned for more magic from my amazing rep team—this is just the beginning.
xoxo,
jordan
